Bogner posted here under "Wisdom", which I heard he later gave to someone else. When Weevil mentioned that he was able to "absorb some of TK's darkness", all I could think was, yeah, but he sure as hell brought along a hefty dose of it here himself --at least for a short time. His baggage included an unhappy home life (living alone with an elderly/sickly mother, taking care of her, in some soulless corner of Arizona, which is what I hear is behind his current absence --rumor mill at Commie said she took a turn for the worse.) an unfortunate tendency early on to wear his very real personal issues on his sleeve, which his enemies never let him forget (laughing at a rape victim on TCJ; getting targeted by a psychotic expatriate in France with menacing phone calls to his mom; etc.) and finally, a half-talent for circular logic that, unlike jack & others, he could never really bend to his will; often talking himself into corners, whereupon he would quickly adopt a defensive butthurt posture, his eloquence degenerating into angry snipes and "i'm leaving forever" speeches. It looks like circumstances took care of that last part for him. I can't help but feel bad for the guy.
