to the policy of simply moving spam and other annoying posts to the Badlands or DC instead of dc'ing the posters entirely, pls.
Not that I would know if the TK admins ever stuck to that policy, mind you. I just think that it would be nice if ppl could depend on the administration to keep their part of the deal when it comes to the rules, which is: the admins don't fuck with you as long as you don't post something illegal, threatening, or RL.

This will be part of a change in stance from my POV, of daycaring fewer people for spamming.

OTOH, why do you feel the need to daycare anyone for spamming in the first place? I've read the rules, no excessive spamming, flooding, yadda, yadda, yadda, sure, but I thought this was about posing a problem for the server, or am I wrong about that?

I think most people know my stance on over moderation and the less DC'ing the better. But there are two sides to every coin and there is most certainly a case for coming down harder on people that dribble all over the place constantly.

Admins not daycaring people that annoy them for borderline behavior would be more of a deviation from the historical TK norm than what's currently going on.

I can barely remember yesterday, but it seems like when I first joined people got daycared on a regular basis, no one made a big deal of it, and the same admin or some other admin usually came along and let the person out (except for Jillian). Why is daycare such a big deal now? If someone else let Aquehonga out of dc would it be a big deal?
