ElI Manning is contemplating retirement. If he does return, it almost certainly will not be with the New York Giants. Manning, who turns 39 on Friday, has spent all 16 of his professional seasons with the team that traded for him during the 2004 NFL draft. The Miami Dolphinshave parted ways with offensive coordinator Chad O'Shea after one season, the team announced Monday night. O'Shea, who spent the previous 10 years as the New England Patriots receivers coach, was colleagues with Dolphins head coach Brian Flores in New England and one of the coach's first hires. The Dolphins also parted ways with safeties coach Tony Oden and offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo. The O'Shea move is particularly surprising given his chemistry with veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and the offense's significant improvement in the second half of the season. After Fitzpatrick reentered the starting lineup, the Dolphins ranked in the top-10 in passing offense and top-15 in scoring offense

Rivera, who was fired by the Panthers on Dec. 3 with a 5-7 record, was viewed as a strong candidate for any opening. Rivera also was Chicago's defensive coordinator in 2006 when the Bears reached the Super Bowl. He served in the same role from 2008 to 2010 with the San Diego Chargers. Del Rio's defenses finished No. 2 overall in 2002 and 2012, and third in 2014. Del Rio was head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2003 to 2011 and the Oakland Raiders from 2015 to 2017.

Bill Cowher elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame's centennial class
Former Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher was formally named the first member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's centennial class on Saturday, when the Hall's president, David Baker, informed Cowher of his selection to be enshrined during CBS' "NFL Today" program. The Hall's centennial class was selected by a blue-ribbon panel this past week. The remainder of the 15-member class will be revealed Wednesday morning. Cowher, a Crafton, Pennsylvania, native who coached the Steelers for 15 seasons, was visibly moved by the announcement.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who is scheduled to be a free agent on March 18, said Saturday that he isn't putting a timetable on making a decision about his future plans. In his Westwood One interview, Brady once against asserted his plans to play in 2020. And when asked about Kraft's remarks, Brady said, "I love playing football. I love playing for this organization. I really don't know what it looks like moving forward, and I'm just taking it day to day."

Rosenhaus wrote in the letter that the NFLPA received Thursday that he would like to work with Brown, but not until he first gets help. Additionally, attorney Darren Heitner has removed himself as counsel for Brown in a lawsuit filed in 2018 that alleges Brown caused damages to a rented condominium, per an order granting motion to withdraw filed in Miami-Dade County. The court allowed Heitner to withdraw as counsel on the landlord/tenant case that he handled until this week.
Brown has continued to take shots at the NFL and various teams and players via social media this season, including jabs last month at former Steelers teammate JuJu Smith-Schuster and Raiders quarterback Derek Carr. The NFL is investigating Brown after a lawsuit was filed by his former trainer, Britney Taylor, alleging that she was sexually assaulted by Brown on multiple occasions. Brown also was accused of sexual misconduct at his home by an artist who was working there in 2017. The NFL has not concluded that investigation.
