Truth there although it doesn’t seem like we’ve had a “good war” in a long time.
What even
was the last "good war"? World War 2? That was the last one in which we had a clear, well defined objective: Contain and defeat the Axis powers. Then the war's over. Of course, we still ended up tangled in Europe and Asia, with bases and so forth. But the war had an exit point.
But everything from Korea on seems to have been just wasting blood and money to impose our systems on countries where, frankly, it didn't even fucking matter if they followed our system or not.
For example: Exactly what tangible threat did a Communist Vietnam pose to the United States? What were they gonna do, 'wade around in rice paddies' at us?
Ooooh. Don't get me wrong, I despise all scams that use deception and/or force to oppress the many to enrich and empower the few, including Communism and Christianity -- but Vietnam wasn't a problem for Americans until the government
made it a problem for Americans.
Same deal with Ukraine. The American people have nothing to gain from military intervention there, and a whole lot to lose by it.
