Anaheim Ducks coach Dallas Eakins sidelined because of positive COVID-19 test

Eakins is the third member of Anaheim's coaching staff in the NHL's health and safety protocols, joining assistants Geoff Ward and Joe Piscotty. The Ducks also have four players in protocols, defensemen Cam Fowler and Josh Manson, right wing Troy Terry and backup goaltender Anthony Stolarz. Anaheim was leading the Pacific Division in late December but has dropped four straight and gone 2-7-1 in its past 10 games. The Ducks are tied for second in the division with the Los Angeles Kings at 45 points.

Amid talk of player boycotts, NFL scouting combine amends event's COVID-19 policies, procedures​

The NFL scouting combine on Monday night sent a memo to all prospective NFL players attending next month's annual pre-draft event in Indianapolis, revising its policies and procedures regarding COVID-19 protocols.The memo, obtain by ESPN's Adam Schefter, focuses on mask-wearing for both the players and medical personnel, as well as defining the event's secure areas, keys points of contention among players' agents. The NFL sent a memo last week to draft prospects and their agents outlining rules for the combine, including a bubble that would keep prospects from interacting with their personal trainers, doctors, nutritionists and agents while in Indianapolis.

Phoenix Suns' Devin Booker placed in COVID-19 health and safety protocol​

All-Star guard Devin Booker has entered the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocol and will miss the Phoenix Suns' game against the Portland Trail Blazers Wednesday night.The Suns made the announcement at the team's shoot around. Booker is a three-time All-Star and the team's leading scorer, averaging 25.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game. The 25-year-old's absence is another blow to the Suns, who are also missing fellow All-Star guard Chris Paul. Booker previously entered the protocols this season in September and missed media day and the start of training camp.
