I'm currently playing Star Trek: Resurgence, and it's REALLY good. Sure, the graphics are a bit dated, and the gameplay is what you would expect from a Telltale title, but it's all about the narrative and the performances, and they're both top-notch. It's a highly authentic experience.

Escorting Ambassador Spock to a mediation between two alien races, and I was legit surprised when I heard the voice. The voice actor has NAILED it. It really sounds a lot like Nimoy.

Is Neelix in it.

What about the biggest game of the summer, AEW: FIGHT FOREVER?

It loks quite good. Like OBVIOUSLY the graphics aren't up to the WWE standard, but they're good enough (especially as I'll be playing on Switch) and the gameplay looks near identical to WWF No Mercy but faster and smoother and that's what I want!

Baldur's Gate II was released 23 years ago. I remember buying the boxed edition from Gamestop and hurrying home to install it. I was engrossed for weeks, and to this day, it remains one of the best RPG's of all time. Larian Studios has been working on the sequel for 6 years, and to say I've been anticipating its release would be a severe understatement. Now it's finally here, after 20 hours of barely scratching the surface of Act I, It's everything I hoped it would be. It's OUTRAGEOUSLY good.

There are 174 hours of cinematics. 17000 different permutations of possible endings. You have devs complaining on Twitter that they don't want BG3 to be the new industry standard because it's impossible to live up to. There is three times the dialogue of all three Lord of the Rings novels combined. The script is roughly two million words long. It feels limitless in scope.

This is a once-a-decade game.

Between this, Tears of the Kingdom, Resident Evil 4: Remake and with Starfield dropping in a month, this has been an INSANE year for pure gaming nirvana

I am still a sucker for Bethesda games, even Buggy as fuck. So I'm kinda looking forward to Starfield. And( when it finally comes out,) I will buy Elder Scrolls six for my as-yet-unborn great grandchildren. They should be old enough to play by then...

This month I've been playing Yakuza: Kiwami which is a remaster of the 2005 original Yakuza game (now I've finished 0, I'm on the mission to play everything up to Infinite Wealth; just another 7 games to go) a ton of online chess, and this little gem that has me fully addicted:

I have a very expensive and powerful gaming PC and nothing I've played in the last couple months has utilized it at all. GRAPHICS AREN'T EVERYTHING.
