Ravens QB Lamar Jackson favored by Las Vegas to win MVP
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson began the season as a long shot to win NFL MVP. He's now the favorite. For the first time this season, Jackson sits atop the odds to win NFL MVP. He is 7-5 at Caesars Sportsbook, after entering the season -- his second in the NFL and first as a full-time starter -- at 50-1. He has taken off from there, dazzling with his arm and legs and turning the Ravens into one of the Super Bowl favorites.

On Sunday, Jackson threw four touchdown passes in a 41-7 rout of the Houston Texans, the Ravens' sixth win in a row. He is the first Ravens quarterback in team history to have two games with four or more passing touchdowns in a season. He added 86 yards on the ground against the Texans and has 788 rushing yards on the season, the most by a quarterback through 10 games in the Super Bowl era.

Odds To Win MVP
Lamar Jackson, Baltimore - (7-5 Odds.)
Russell Wilson, Seattle - (2-1)
Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay - (9-1)
Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City - (10-1)
Dak Prescott, Dallas - (10-1)
Kirk Cousins, Washington - (15-1)
Christain McCaffrey, Carolina (20-1)
Deshaun Watson, Houston (20-1)

Jackson is the front-runner now, though, and his team is soaring up the odds boards with him. The Ravens' Super Bowl odds have improved to 5-1 at Caesars Sportsbook, behind only the Patriots (11-4) and Saints (4-1).

NFL upholds one-game ban for Browns' Larry Ogunjobi for shoving Mason Rudolph
The one-game suspension for Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi was upheld by appeals officer James Thrash. Thrash, however, rescinded Ogunjobi's fine of $10,527. Ogunjobi had been disciplined for shoving Mason Rudolph from behind.

Mason Rudolph regrets his actions, is OK with Myles Garrett
"I should've done a better job handling that situation," Rudolph said. "I have no ill will towards Myles Garrett. "I've got to do a better job at keeping my composure in those situations," Rudolph said, "and I think it was an unfortunate situation for both teams involved."

Super Bowl winning coach explains why he has no 'sympathy' for Myles Garrett, even if a racial slur was used
Although the NFL found no evidence that a slur was used, at least one former NFL coach doesn't think it should matter whether or not Rudolph used any inappropriate language. During an interview with "PFT Live", Tony Dungy explained why he has no sympathy for Garrett, even if a racial slur was used on the field. "I'm sorry, I don't have sympathy with Myles Garrett if in fact that is what happened," Dungy said of the slur possibly being used.

Sources: NFL teams haven't called Colin Kaepernick since QB's Nov. 16 workout
In the week since Colin Kaepernick worked out for seven NFL teams at Charles R. Drew High School in Riverdale, Georgia, no teams have reached out to work him out, visit with him or sign him, league sources told ESPN. Kaepernick, 32, remains unemployed, and NFL teams remain uninterested in his services -- the same story that has followed the former San Franciso quarterback for almost three years. Kaepernick's representatives sent video of their client's workout to the 25 NFL teams that did not attend last Saturday, but that has not led to any interest, either. The fact that the NFL tried to spark interest in Kaepernick last week, and could not, and that his reps made sure that video of the workout was delivered to every team, are just the latest signs that the chances are bleak that a team will step forward and sign him.

The NFL originally scheduled the workout to take place at the Falcons facility, but Kaepernick's camp switched venues after a disagreement between the two sides on the quarterback's liability waiver and media availability, among other factors. In a statement, the NFL said it was "disappointed that Colin did not appear for his workout.'' The change in venue interrupted schedules for many of the 25 teams that were set to watch Kaepernick at the original site, but Kaepernick still threw in front of representatives from the Niners, Eagles, Chiefs, Jets, Redskins, Lions and Titans. "I've been ready for three years,'' Kaepernick said. "I've been denied for three years. We all know why I came out here.
showed it today in front of everybody. We have nothing to hide. So we're waiting for the 32 owners, 32 teams, Roger Goodell, all of them to stop running. Stop running from the truth.

Week 13 NFL takeaways: Bears, Bills win; Saints clinch playoffs

Chicago Bears 24, Detroit Lions 20
Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky played his best game of the season.
It's easy to pick apart the handful of mistakes Trubisky committed against the Lions. Yes, Trubisky needed to run straight ahead and not bounce outside on a third-and-short scramble near the end of the first half. Last season, Trubisky probably plows ahead for the first down. This season, because of shoulder and hip injuries, it's not that simple. Trubisky also threw a bad interception on a ball intended for Allen Robinson. But he completed 29 of 38 passes for 338 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, and led Chicago on its winning drive. The Bears will take those results any day of the week.

Next game: vs. Dallas (6-6)

Buffalo Bills 26, Dallas Cowboys 15

The Bills can beat good teams, too. The bulk of the criticism against Buffalo has centered on its seven wins against teams with losing records and lack of a "marquee" victory. The regular-season stage doesn't get much brighter than Thanksgiving at Dallas, and the Bills turned in their best performance -- yet they don't see it as a statement win. With 10 days to prepare for the Ravens in Week 14, Buffalo thinks it simply met its expectations. "No statement game, this is just another week in Buffalo Bills land," defensive end Jerry Hughes said. "This is what we do, this is what the [Bills] Mafia expects us to do."

Next game: vs. Baltimore

New Orleans Saints 26, Atlanta Falcons 18

The Saints (10-2) became the first team to clinch a playoff spot this season. And they got to serve up some revenge on Thanksgiving night after their ugly loss to the Falcons 18 days earlier. But they were still far from perfect, thanks to another barrage of penalties, some dropped passes and a shocking inability to recover onside kicks. They need a much cleaner performance if they want to aim for a higher seed, with a critical home date looming against the 49ers in Week 14.

Next game: vs. San Francisco
