Trump (like another ignored poster on this board) is a FUCKING CHICKEN aka a FUCKING COWARD

On eve of hush money trial, big, bold Donald Trump shows he's nothing but a giant chicken

For a guy who fancies himself a tough alpha male – brimming with “I’m right and you’re wrong!” bluster like the cock of the walk – Donald Trump is, in reality, a giant chicken. Trump's first criminal trial is set to start Monday in New York City. If you struggle to keep track of the man’s multitudinous indictments, this is the one involving Stormy Daniels, the adult-film star he’s accused of paying off in advance of the 2016 presidential election to keep quiet about their alleged affair. He has referred to Daniels as “Horseface” and written on social media, “She knows nothing about me, a total con!” Last year, he referred to the case as “the Stormy ‘horseface’ Daniels extortion plot.”

Trump has claimed – over and over and over again – that the case is part of a vast left-wing conspiracy against him, a “Witch-Hunt to destroy the Make America Great Again movement” and “Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history.”

On eve of first criminal trial, Trump is all talk – as usual

In a statement in March 2023, Trump name-checked Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and boasted: “So our Movement, and our Party – united and strong – will first defeat Alvin Bragg, and then we will defeat Joe Biden.”
You’d think an abundantly confident macho man like Trump would be chomping at the bit to get into a courtroom with his lawyers and prove the “Thugs and Radical Left Monsters” wrong, to pull back the curtain on this unjust persecution/prosecution, to shove the evidence of his angelic innocence right in their smug faces. You’d think. But Trump has been doing the opposite, trying everything possible to delay the trial. His lawyers filed three futile appeals just this week, all of which were shot down. He’s grousing that he can’t get a fair trial in Manhattan, that the judge slapped him with an unconstitutional gag order and that the judge has a conflict of interest because his daughter is a Democratic political consultant. At this rate I expect he’ll show up to court Monday in a WHAAAAAAAAmbulance then get carried in on a stretcher, moaning about how the deep state gave him typhoid fever.

Donald Trump claims to be tough, but his fear of the Stormy Daniels trial says otherwise

These are not the actions of a bold, confident man who knows he’s innocent and will fight to prove the naysayers wrong. That’s probably because Trump is not a bold, confident man who knows he’s innocent, and he doesn’t know how to “fight.” He just slings mud and runs away hollering: “I have never slung any mud! That is FAKE NEWS!” As with every self-assigned description of Trump – a “great” president, a “brilliant” businessman, a “tough” guy – it’s all a mirage. It’s ineptitude, lunkheadedness and cowardice cloaked by flimsy branding.

Trump as a fighter? LOL! The man never fights, he just runs away.

When he lost the 2020 presidential election, his narcissism wouldn’t allow him to accept the results. So it became Vice President Mike Pence’s fault. It became a “rigged election.” And did Trump himself march into the halls of Congress to stop the transfer of power, bravely buoyed by facts he believed were in his favor? Nope. He dispatched the most gullible of his supporters, let them mob the U.S. Capitol and let them get locked up. If he loses again in November, he’ll do the same thing – talk a good fight, then send in the rubes.

When the trial starts Monday, Trump will finally face accountability

On Monday, barring a legal miracle, the man who thinks so highly of himself that he autographs Bibles will step into a courtroom and become the first former U.S. president to face a jury of his peers in a criminal trial.
He is terrified of that moment. The narcissism at his core has never met accountability. If he had a lick of confidence, he wouldn’t be paying attorneys – probably with GOP donor money, not his own – to pull every whack-a-doodle legal trick they can muster to delay, delay, delay. He wouldn’t be spending hours online and at rallies griping and whining and woe-is-me-ing. He’d be ready, self-assured and eager to clear his name. He’d be tough.

He’s not.

Trump is a chicken. A frightened, clucking chicken who, as of Monday, will have no room left to run.

I'm not mad (and I'm not your bro so kindly refrain from referring to me in that way, bitch)

You seem to think I am what I defend. That's how you narrow minded fascists think. You're a failure and most of the country laughs at people with your views.

I am not trans, but I'll defend to the death anyone who is over the likes of you, cunt.

Everything's about trans hate with you it seems. It's all you talk about. You know what you are? One of those "moms for liberty" types that thinks they can dictate their hate.

Just stuff it up your ass. No one around here gives the tiniest shit about your hate. Also no one agrees you, except for maybe the other n.igger that posts here.

Seems you're birds of a feather with that ignorant asshole too :bigass:

Yawn, "Everyone who disagrees with me is a fascist!". Grow up, child. Oh, and, yes, there are only two genders and mutilating children who cannot consent is deeply immoral. It does irreparable damage and needs to be outlawed.

Trump Rages On Eve Of Jury Selection For Hush Money Trial: ‘SEE YOU TOMORROW’

Former President Donald Trump once again attacked the Manhattan district attorney and judge overseeing his upcoming hush money trial on the eve of jury selection. “Just four years ago I was a very popular and successful President of the United States, getting more votes than any sitting President in history,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “Tomorrow morning I’ll be in Criminal Court, before a totally conflicted Judge, a Corrupt Prosecutor, a Legal System in CHAOS, a State being overrun by violent crime and corruption, and Crooked Joe Biden’s henchmen ‘Rigging the System’ against his Political Opponent, ME!”

The former president is under a limited gag order that prohibits him from making public statements about jurors, court staff or the relatives of the judge or Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg. Trump is, however, allowed to attack both the judge and Bragg themselves.

Jury selection will begin Monday in the landmark case, which will be the first time a former American president has been forced to face a criminal trial. Trump has been indicted on 34 felony counts related to a hush money payment made to the adult film star Stormy Daniels in the waning days of the 2016 presidential election. Prosecutors allege he used the payment to quash Daniels’ allegations of an extramarital affair and falsified business records to conceal the deal.

Trump has denied all charges and pleaded not guilty.

“I will be fighting for our Country. Election Interference like this has never happened in the USA before and, hopefully, will never happen again,” he wrote Sunday.

The former president plans to testify during the case, which he has continually attacked as a witch hunt. His attorneys lost multiple attempts to delay the trial last week after claiming the judge overseeing it had a conflict of interest and complaining the case had too much publicity, among other alleged issues.

“I’m testifying. I tell the truth,” Trump said last week, although he could change his mind. “I mean, all I can do is tell the truth. And the truth is that there’s no case. They have no case.”

New York judge says Trump can’t attend Supreme Court arguments on presidential immunity

The New York judge overseeing former President Trump’s hush money trial said Monday that Trump cannot attend arguments on presidential immunity at the Supreme Court next week. It came after the judge earlier delayed a decision on allowing Trump to attend his son Barron’s high school graduation in May. The attempts by Trump to take off certain days of his hush money trial that is expected to last weeks, if not months, came as the first day of trial was officially underway in Manhattan. The decision to not allow Trump to be in Washington, D.C., on April 25, when the Supreme Court is set to hear oral arguments on a presidential immunity claim Trump is making in his federal criminal case, came just before the New York trial adjourned Monday.

“Arguing before the Supreme Court is a big deal, and I can certainly appreciate why your client would want to be there, but a trial in New York Supreme Court … is also a big deal,” Judge Juan Merchan said to Trump lawyer Todd Blanche, rejecting his request to let the former president play hooky.

“I will see him here next week,” the judge added.

Under New York state law, Trump is required to attend the entirety of his trial unless he gets special permission from the judge to skip. After court adjourned for the day, Trump suggested Merchan believes he is “superior” to the Supreme Court for preventing him from attending the high court’s oral arguments. The former president also accused Merchan of preventing him from attending his son Barron’s high school graduation in May. The judge declined to rule one way or another on the matter earlier Monday, but did not outright deny granting the former president the ability to attend the event.

“I was looking forward to that graduation with his mother and father there,” Trump told reporters. “It looks like the judge isn’t going to allow me to escape this scam. It’s a scam trial.”

In his remarks outside the courtroom, Trump also blasted Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D) for attending the trial all day, suggesting that outside the courthouse people are being “mugged and killed all day long.”

The first day of Trump’s first criminal trial primarily dealt with outstanding legal matters, only turning to jury selection following an afternoon lunch break.

Trump is accused of 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment his ex-fixer, Michael Cohen, made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election to cover up an alleged affair. He has pleaded not guilty and denies the affair.

Jury selection is expected to resume Tuesday and could last several days or perhaps weeks.

Trump Trial Starts With Judge Allowing Jury to Hear About Affair

Donald Trump’s first criminal trial got off to a plodding start, with the proceedings stalling over disagreements about evidence and other last-minute arguments, leaving even the former president looking bored and resting his eyes at times. Jury selection, which was set to start Monday, didn’t kick off until the final hours of the day as defense lawyers and prosecutors argued over multiple motions introduced by Trump to exclude certain evidence.

Seating a jury may prove difficult, potentially raising further questions about the speed of the trial, as more than half of the first panel of 96 potential jurors were excused after saying they could not be impartial. A delay could be a boost for Trump, who has repeatedly tried to hold up multiple legal proceedings as he campaigns to return to the White House. The trial is expected to last six to eight weeks, bit dragging it out may make it less likely that any of the three other criminal prosecutions he faces go to trial before the November presidential election.

“We’re way behind schedule,” Justice Juan Merchan said as the first day came to an end.

The process starts again Tuesday. Disputes over individual jurors are common and can lead to drawn-out questioning by lawyers to root out potential bias. The case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg accuses Trump of falsifying business records to conceal a hush money payment to porn star Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election. Trump denies wrongdoing.

The day started with the 77-year-old Trump walking slowly and deliberately toward the press outside the courtroom in his traditional blue suit and red tie to deliver statements. He paused before the cameras and said that the case was an outrage and a persecution. “It’s a case that should have never been brought,” said Trump.

In court, he sat hunched over and talked to one of his lawyers, Todd Blanche. Throughout jury selection, Trump appeared bored or disinterested in what was happening. After lunch, when the judge started describing the case to potential jurors, Trump closed his eyes and began to tilt sideways momentarily. The first day of the trial was also a test for how the judge is going to deal with an unconventional defendant like Trump, who sometimes has a hard time following court rules. Merchan said he would hold a hearing next week on whether to hold Trump in contempt for violating a gag order that aimed to deter him from publicly dissing witnesses in the case. At issue were recent social media posts in which Trump called his former lawyer Michael Cohen and Daniels “two sleaze bags.” Blanche said the former president was merely responding to comments made by the pair, saying “they’re just generally disparaging Trump constantly.” Bragg has asked for a $3,000 fine.

The jury selection process started hours late. A group of nearly 100 potential jurors answered a questionnaire that was designed to find out who among them has strong views against or in favor of Trump, and whether they can set aside those views to issue a verdict based only on the evidence. Merchan rejected a last-minute request to change the jury questionnaire, saying “there will be no doubt whatsoever” about how prospective jurors feel about Trump and Bragg when they’re done with the list.

In another Trump setback, the judge ruled that jurors will be allowed to hear evidence about his alleged extra-marital affair with former Playboy model Karen McDougal, saying it is a central element of the case. But the judge agreed to prevent jurors from listening to the so-called Access Hollywood tape or from hearing that Trump’s wife Melania was pregnant during the alleged affair.

The timing of the release of the Access Hollywood tape — in which Trump boasts about men who are “stars” being allowed to grab women’s genitals without consent — is significant because the district attorney argues it created a firestorm around Trump’s 2016 campaign that motivated him to pay $130,000 to Daniels to keep quiet about their alleged affair. Trump’s alleged affair with McDougal is also central to the case because because American Media Inc., publisher of the National Enquirer, paid her $150,000 to keep quiet about it before the election.

Bragg’s star witness is Cohen, who personally paid Daniels to keep quiet about her alleged affair with Trump a decade earlier. Central to the indictment is the way in which Trump repaid Cohen, allegedly in monthly installments throughout 2017 that were falsely classified in financial statements as monthly legal services.
