Lost season 4 newspaper article

All the posters for lost here feature Jack, Kate, and a 747.

But their plane wasnt a 747, so I guess they couldnt find a picture of the actual plane they were on, or they were pushed for time when they put the poster together.

THERE ARE NO SPOILERS IN THIS POST!

LET ME TELL YOU the season premiere was super fucking kick ass. I was watching from the edge of my seat from the very start. I cannot wait till you all watch it so we can talk about it. There were several parts that I KNOW you guys are gonna love. They are extreme MINE FIELD moments.

I dunno about the posters.. I know there are billboards here in the states with clues, but I have no idea what they are. Also during the show that came on right after there was a commercial for Oceanic Airlines along with a website address and some flashes of a guy saying "they can't be trusted" or something like that. I'll see if I can find the website address.

The website might be america specific.

You only need to wait till sunday night.

There was an advert in the newspaper with a Darma symbol and some secret code type writing on it...probably just means "WALT IS JACOB'S SISTER" or something.

Maybe the secret code will unlock the Oceanic website. Behind the writing there's a secret message and if you hover over the writing part of it shows.. but not all of it and it's hard to make out.

The secret message is behind this message.. I was hoping I could copy the secret message BUT NO.

We regret to announce that Oceanic Airlines has ceased all operations effective immediately.

Michael Orteig, President of Oceanic Airlines, released this statement: "After 25 years of service, we are forced to close our doors. Due to financial difficulties in the wake of the Flight 815 tragedy, we are no longer able to sustain service. We are deeply sorry that we can no longer serve our loyal customers, and apologize for any inconvenience our decision will cause."

Passengers of Oceanic Airlines are encouraged to contact their travel agent or one of Oceanic's airline partners to make alternate travel arrangements.

OK.. here's the part of the secret message that I can read:

I survived a horrific plane crash and am stranded on an island somewhere Northeast of Australia and Southwest of Hawaii. In the event that I am never found please forward word of my fate to my (can't make out the next word).

It's "parents". I've got Lost on my usb, but now Naveen Andrews is on telly, so I just suppose I'll have to watch him first!

Oooohh yyyeeeaaahhh Lost was awesome.

ALTHOUGH WHERE THE HELL WAS THE UNDERWEAR PARTY?????

GOD DAMN IT.

Jonathan Ross kept asking Naveen about heroin and Naveen was like "stop talking about it,man" but Ross was like "SO, HEROIN, YOU USED TO EAT THAT UP"

In between "wos goin on in Wost?"

Anyway, great episode, but now of course I can't wait for next week's!

Of Jonathan Ross?

No. Of Lost. I don't have Sky so I downloaded it.

It could be new.. I think that was the clue on the billboards or something. OH it's an interactive thing connected to season 4 so it must be new!

What's an ARG?

I came across that name only the other day when I was looking for stuff about Cloverfield.

Apparently it's an Alternate Reality Game. Basically any of the viral sites that are designed to look real, but are in fact part of the fictional Lost universe.

Grr, arg.

Oh yeah, having now seen the episode...it was quite good. One problem with Lost is always that there's so many characters and they're often divided up that there's a lot of walking through the jungle to get them all into place. There was a bit of that in this episode, but to be fair they did manage to get all the characters together and divided up into two new groups within one ep, which was an achievement. The Hurley breaking down scene was quite emotional and they always do the emotional stuff well. Jacob's cabin can move? Where was the line of ash around it? Were there two people in the cabin? Christian Shephard in the rocking chair and another who jumped up at the window? The flash forwards didn't reveal much that wasn't already established in Jack's last year. Nice to see dead Charlie again, I suppose, wonder if he'll keep appearing as Hurley's Six. Though since Hurley in the future was surprised to see him, that suggests that he's never seen him as a ghost on the island. Would have liked to have gotten a better look at how the groups ended up at the end. Did Desmond stay with Jack? You'd think he'd go with Locke after the "not Penny's boat" thing. Ending was a bit anti-climatic. STILL, BETTER THAN HEROES.
