Well the terminator (alien) did keep sticking bits of himself into other men.

Nice to know that in a base with ten stockpiled nuclear missiles only ten soldiers will be guarding the lot.
 
I wouldn't call it "good".

I would call it "not shit". Which, for a Torchwood episode, is amazing.
 
They could do with better sound effects for the guns.

Something that sounds like a gun for example.
 
Any real sci-fi fan would have seen the "we're already here!" line coming too.
 
There was at least ganyess implied when Ianto remarked on what Jack's like in bed.

I agree it wasn't awful, but the second half had lots of lame moments. The behind the scenes thing on BBC2 earlier was quite painful viewing. They really don't realise how shit the show is.

The Doctor Who Confidentials / Torchwood DeClassifieds are really hard to watch for this reason.

Sometimes they're quite good and they'll talk about how something related to the old sereis, or they'll actually interview someone interesting, but mpstly it's RTD going "WELL FRANKLY I THINK THAT THIS EPISODE I WROTE IS THE BEST EVPISODE EVER AND I'M ACTUALLY VERY SURPRISED MY HEAD DIDN'T EXPLODE BECAUSE OF HOW GOOD IT WAS.".

(The Owen death one, haven't watched the BBC9 one.)

Freema is SO much fitter than the other two ropey birds on the show that I almost felt sorry for them...but mainly I felt that Alan Dale should have capped Gwen and Tosh at the end and let Martha replace them...AND SALLY SPARROW.

Did the preview not show Owen waking up? I think they'll use the resurrection glove on him then the Weevils will turn him into their king and he'll sing "I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO BE KING!" from the Lion King probably.

And yeah Martha is a QT. I love Martha. Love her.

Ok here goes.

They managed to be cliche (bringing Owen back) and uncliche (hes still dead, just moving around) at the same time.

The episode is a bit bipolar, you have Own moping around because he cant get it up (no blood or heartbeat (makes you wonder how Spike and Angel managed that trick)), cant drink without having to stand on his head to let it out (no digestive system), cant sleep, but can still fart, although not volunatarly.

And once again the supersecret torchwood has codewords that ever police station and hospital nurse will know and recognise their authority.

Nice cameo from the black smoke monster from lost, shame the skeleton looked a bit pants when it was out in teh open.

And Own has 30 years, or 30 minutes to live, but is still dead, although I imagine he will be back to full life next week in time for Marthas last episode.
