I think it's probably a safe bet that most of us Trek tards also enjoyed the X Files. I know I did, up until the last couple seasons.

I only watched the first couple of seasons, or maybe just the first one, or maybe less than one season. I can barely remember since I was less than ten years old and the series used to air at 11:30 pm. I did not speak English back then, and never really understood what was going on. But the series used to scare the shit out of me, and that's it's magic. A supposedly horror series that really horrifies it's audience, that's quite rare.

I refuse to watch the series (or whatever I watched from it, since I only remember the gutters monster episode, and the one about the two sisters endowed with demonic powers) again, since it will lose it's shock value it had on me back then, and the possibility that the actual plotline of it might be lesser than what I thought it's plotline was.

I have discovered that many things I remember as being fantastic from my childhood aren't great anymore. I haven't watched X Files in a long time, but I think at least the first two seasons would stand the test of time.
