So what does it mean that we're now going to get the first proper Cylon baby. LOOKS LIKE HERA AND NICKY ARE OLD NEWS.

EDIT: I'm also 99% sure that the gun Romo drew on Lee was the same gun Leon used at the start of Blade Runner.

Yep, it is. It's a COP 357, which had also been seen before in BSG, where they were called "Stallions".

Lee becoming president was really lame, though. It was so obvious right from the outset, what was the point of dragging it out?

I liked that Pike the pilot died. A few weeks ago on Demetrius he complained that they'd all die. You always know they don't have much longer to live if they say that!

Oh geeze.. after the two week wait and the awesome Lost finale, Sine Qua Non was a let down.

I KNEW SIX WAS PREGNANT!!! I love that part, and anyone who wonders why Tigh would put his robot penis in her only needs to remember.. she's a hot chick, and he is a man. Plus he keeps projecting his wife's head on her body.

They wasted Romo in this episode. He's a cool character but all the scenes with him and Lee were a bit dull. Did he pull the gun on Lee to make him decide to become president, or was he really nuts and planning to shoot him cause his wife's cat died? I'm thinking he was just forcing Lee to choose and never meant to shoot him at all.

It's sweet that Adama can't live without Roslin, but that was super CHEESY!

The damn promos for next week make it look like D'anna is telling Roslin she's the final cylon, I hope it's just some tricky editing to make us all freak out. She could have been talking to Helo or Baltar, since they are all together.
 
This episode was goofier than hell, but I still mostly enjoyed it. A lot of things came out of left field, and it felt like they were just cramming things in there to tie up some loose ends before the show ends. I enjoyed the fight between Adama and Tigh, but I just don't see Adama turning over command of the Galactica to Tigh so he can go floating around in a Raptor. That was weird.
 
Yeah.. definitely weird. It's like they're forcing the characters to do stuff they wouldn't normally do to fit the plot, OR SOMETHING.
 
Well, remember that episode in season one where he was looking for Starbuck and endangering the fleet? We were supposed to see that happening again, though it was all a bit fast. But I guess someone has to wait for Roslin! And it was cool seeing him in the flightsuit and giving his callsign as "Husker" like in Razor.
 
I forgot about that.. but it's still weird that Adama would just hang out in space all by himself.
 
Well, I missed the first thirty minutes of the replay since I was out debauching myself. Guess I didn't miss much.

Normally Galactica would just leave a Raptor behind with Racetrack in it, like the time they used one to check if the Cylons were following the fleet.

Like Tigh reminded Adama, last time he was in command of the fleet, it was total disaster.


In an extremely nerdy note, I'm glad they finally gave the hangar bay a proper back wall, they've been using a curtain in some episodes and it was stupid.

I hope that's not the last we see of Cavil! Doubtful, since there are many copies and that's probably before the Hub is destroyed (if it is destroyed.)
