I'm pretty sure McCain's campaign is receiving public funding, and I'm going to make the huge assumption that she personally is not paying tens of thousands of dollars a month for a makeup artist.
Although I think the amount of money they're paying for her hair, make-up, and clothing is outrageous.. I can't really get worked up about it. The guys can wear the same blue or black suit everywhere and no one will notice a thing, but if a famous woman wears the same outfit twice the "media" goes berserk. Remember how the media treated Hilary over her pantsuits and helmet hair?

Interesting. It was my understanding that Obama was all about campaign finance reform because privately funded candidates with big bucks had an unfair advantage. At least he was in 2006. He was even for it in 2007. Guess it is different when it is his "private financing" that is on the line.
Where did you find that McCain accepted public financing? When Obama committed back in 2007 to go the public finance route, so did McCain. But, when Obama renigged on his promise, I think McCain did also.
