I think this will completely disregard the X-Men franchise. Hopefully the director is doing this right, what with origins (no pun intended) and who all Wolverine has been in contact with, etc.

Wouldn't it be great if Rogue had a cameo with Gambit? And hopefully it would be Anna?!!!!??!!!!
 
I recognized The Blob and Gambit of course. Which one was Deadpool. Who was the black cowboy? I didn't watch the trailer above, I watched it at another site.

Anyone else hoping Steve Rogers (or better yet, Captain America) makes a cameo??? They have an Avengers movie in the works after the next Iron Man, so introducing Cap would be a natural fit for this movie.
 
^Deadpool is Ryan Reynold's character, the guy you briefly see with the two swords. And the black cowboy must be Wil I Am's character, John Wraith.

There's also somebody playing "Scott Summers" according to IMDB.
 
Yep, that's John Wraith, and the woman who seems to turn her body into ice is actually Emma Frost, whose later ability was to be able to make her body diamond-hard.

(My geekiness is coming out for this, so beware).

The chinese guy is Agent Zero.

BDM, the bald guy that JoBlow doesn't want to reveal because it might be a spoiler could be Captain America. I don't know who else it could be.

Ohhh shit! The guy who plays The Blob is Kevin Durand, the crazy soldier dude from the last season of Lost! SWEET!

The room where Wolverine is having his "procedure" is exactly the same as in X2, so I don't think they'll just be ignoring the other movies. The scense with young Storm, Cyclops, Emma etc could take place in flashback and the Gambit stuff in present day. And maybe Wolverine will give Sabretooth a lobotomy with his claws at the end or something.
 
I think that's how he kills Sabretooth in the comics.
 
The icy mutant at the end has the same eyes as Stryker's son in X2.

Don't know what he'd be doing in it, though, he was supposed to be at Xavier's school when he was young. But I suppose if Wolverine is hanging out with Stryker he could see him.

The only thing that makes me think that's NOT Cap is the baldness. Steve Rogers is known for his iconic blonde hair, I hope they wouldn't change that. Heck, I remember as a young lad being surprised when Cap took off his mask, because there weren't (aren't) that many blonde superheroes.
 
Maybe the NAZIS shave his head to humiliate him.
 
The Cap wont be in this, since its not part of the marvel film group that lets characters mix in and out of each others films.

We wont be seeing the X men, spiderman, or the FF do that.

I realize that Sabretooth having a much bigger role necessitate them casting a "real" actor, but will they just ignore Tyler Mane's version from the first film??
 
Or Wolverine lobtomises him at the end, turning him into a spacko. Umm, and he grows taller somehow too.
