An MF referendum on Scotland

If scotland goes independant will we have to pay import duty on scotch?
 
Yes, but on the plus side, we'll be able to ban John Leslie from England, so our women will remain safe. Now isn't that peace of mind worth a little price increase on the Scotch? I think we all know the answer.
 
Dunno. My ancestors left Scotland a couple hundred years ago, so I've got no dog in this hunt. But it's amusing to see the Limeys and Jocks going at it. Fight for my amusement! :smfevil:
 
I identify more as a Natalie Portman fan than as Scottish.

Never heard of Scots being called Jocks before, but I thought Limeys were the Brits in general, not just the English.
 
Yes, but some americans think everyone in Britain is English.
 
Perhaps this thread can go some way to clearing things up on that front.

Of the people polled, half said Scotland should not remain in England and in a similar poll, it was decided that Scotland may no longer border Wales. You have ten minutes to move your country.
 
Well, which part? What about Northern Scotland? That's independant already.
 
I am unclear on the actual location of Wales.
