It was a series (maybe just a pilot, I forget now) which was kind of similar to Buck Rogers in its story. A guy was frozen and ended up in the future, except everyone there wanted to kill him. And there were underground tunnels of some sort. It was filmed before TOS, I think.

What's the big secret with Juliet's son? Did I miss something, or did they never say? WHATEVER.

That terrorist guy, HOBBES? he is hot. ALSO the V doctor on the ship who is part of the 5th column, he is ALSO hot.

I thought it was a pretty decent episode. I like how ruthless Anna is. The main thing I'm worried about is how they're going to make Ryan and whatshernames half lizard baby look.

The Italians were useless and more of a hindrance to Hitler than a helpful ally. Mussolini was a n00b and Hitler should have just invaded Italy from the beginning.

The US did pretty well technologically during the war, such as nuking the japs just cause we could. Of course at that time the US government was running a pretty fascist state anyways.

Yeah I thought this episode was alright. Things seem to be moving along, and whatever BIG SECRET about Juliet's son is might actually make the character interesting (probably not).

That said, all the blue screen on the V ships is really starting to erk me. As there's more and more scenes set on the ships it becomes more and more noticable. Would it kill them to build a few sets?
 
YES, I was GOING to mention all the bluescreen on the V ships. It's really distracting at times. Is it done for stylistic reasons to make those scenes seem surreal? Or just budget constraints.

The episode was pretty good though. I mean it's still hard to care about Father Jack and "Georgie" much, but I liked the stuff with the V going to the ship and meeting the Fifth Column people. And the scenes with Elizabeth Mitchell because she's really hot. And Krycheck is her ex-husband (REMEMBER HIM?)!

I think the Vs just want Tyler as a mascot and maybe also to produce a hybrid to help make the humans more trusting.

It looks like Anna's right hand man with the perpetually furrowed eyebrows might be cracking. Could join the Fifth Column?

Didn't care much about George (it's their own fault for introducing him as a nutter), but all the stuff on the ship was good. I agree about the CG, though. I'm not sure if it's meant to be surreal and otherworldly, or if it's just not very good. I mean it's okay, but it's not in any way convincing or easy to put out of mind as you watch. Doesn't help seeing the colourful glow of the screen reflected on everyone's faces, either.
 
I know that promos can be VERY misleading (I'm looking at you Lost :rwmad: ) but one of the V promos says we'll find out why the Vs came to earth and it's not what we think. Now what the Vs were on earth for in previous series was tasty humans, but if that promo wasn't a complete lie then perhaps the Vs are here for something to do with Anna's bliss.
 
Maybe they just want our hot Canadian actors who play New Yorkers and then they'll leave us alone?

Ugh, the secret about Tyler didn't make him more interesting at all. He's cute, but blah.
