It is beautiful outside tonight. Sitting out on the front porch with my cats and enjoying this cooler evening with the breeze. Can I help it if I have nice speakers for my laptop? Neighbors are coming out to see what kind of party I'm throwing out here. None. Just keeping the cats from going out in the backyard where I found more dead things yesterday. I'm only a little worried that I'll come up on the wild thing making a home in my back mini-forest.

I had to laugh at the gnome with the power saw picture in another thread. Been doing lots of work in the back using power saws - a chain saw and a Jaw Saw - and clippers, hand saws, and a hatchet. Thought the wild thing living back there would have moved out for quieter digs. But, the carcasses yesterday - squirrels, birds, and possums this time - tell me it may think it has found a hunting smorgasboard worth putting up with a little noise from an old lady.

I've grown a little zaftig, since I can't move around as much, but the foot is better. I have a rubber ball, and I curl my toes around it. Why didn't I think of that sooner? It feels good.
