When I was thirty I decided to take a position at Target as a floor manager, primarily because when I worked at Kmart as a teenager I had the most fun of any of my early jobs, and I naively thought the experience would be the same. I quickly discovered that what constitutes a good time for an immature teenager is worlds away from what an adult considers enjoyable entertainment. I quit very quickly, a little wiser.
