USA vs Russia...Because Ukraine can't defend itself.

The Question

Ukraine is not our business. But it's where Hunter's -- and "the big guy's" -- business was; at least some of it.

Too bad Dubya already used the "WMDs" card.

I eagerly await the premiere of the propaganda industry's "plot twist" blaming Trump for the next generational "military action" that makes both Neocon and Neolib warhawks rich and happy at the expense of the rest of us.

(Yes, I am an anti-war right winger. Those exist. Try not to faint.)

This has nothing to do with trump. It has everything to do with europe though. You see the sattelite pics of this buildup? They've completely surrounded them on three sides, and poor Poland will be collateral damage. I pity Ukraine if Putie Tang pulls the trigger. Lots of icy dead bodies in that countries future.

Anti-war…
Is anyone pro war? It’s kind of like being “pro abortion” (which I might have been in the OP’s case but unfortunately no one asked me).
I’m not going to pretend to have the knowledge to weigh in on Ukraine’s strategic significance to the US. On the surface it definitely doesn’t seem worth a military involvement on our part. At all. While it pains me a little to see Putin bully Ukraine into it, the Ukrainians probably ought to just give in and say they won’t pursue NATO membership and maybe accommodate Putin in a few other ways.
The sanctions aspect…I don’t oppose those efforts yet (although they haven’t provided details). A crippled Russian economy doesn’t bother me much and I just assume neither Russia or China get any more chummy (much less stronger). Then you have to think about NATO and how important that alliance is to us (our strategic and economic interests). If we were to entirely ignore events in Ukraine, how would that impact the NATO alliance? I don’t think that would go over well but how much would that matter? Hmmm.
I will ponder that but sometimes that feels like a waste of time when you’re not privy to all the political and military analyses that are now clogging Trumps toilet.
Or taped back together. That vision of high level staffers with Scotch Tape amused me.

Truth there although it doesn’t seem like we’ve had a “good war” in a long time.
What even was the last "good war"? World War 2? That was the last one in which we had a clear, well defined objective: Contain and defeat the Axis powers. Then the war's over. Of course, we still ended up tangled in Europe and Asia, with bases and so forth. But the war had an exit point.

But everything from Korea on seems to have been just wasting blood and money to impose our systems on countries where, frankly, it didn't even fucking matter if they followed our system or not.

For example: Exactly what tangible threat did a Communist Vietnam pose to the United States? What were they gonna do, 'wade around in rice paddies' at us? Ooooh. Don't get me wrong, I despise all scams that use deception and/or force to oppress the many to enrich and empower the few, including Communism and Christianity -- but Vietnam wasn't a problem for Americans until the government made it a problem for Americans.

Same deal with Ukraine. The American people have nothing to gain from military intervention there, and a whole lot to lose by it.

The Question

Eternal
If the USA wanna fight a war, lets make it ...NO BLACKS ALLOWED.
Better idea: I say we scoop up all the black residents of Democrat-run American cities and send them all to Ukraine, then let them declare open season -- on each other.

With y'all's sideways-pistol-grippin', Imperial Stormtrooper -ass, can't hit water fallin' out of a fucking boat level accuracy, you simians will kill every Ukrainian and Russian the way you knock off innocent bystanders in Chicago and Detroit. Bonus: then you'll all have your own country. Double Bonus: It'll be damn near on the other side of the fucking planet.

Putin orders troops into pro-Russian regions of eastern Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered troops into separatist-held parts of eastern Ukraine in what the Kremlin called a "peacekeeping" mission, just hours after he signed decrees recognizing the independence of the Moscow-backed. It is unclear if Russian troop movements marked the beginning of an invasion of Ukraine that Western leaders have warned about for weeks. But multiple US and Western officials warned Monday's move could serve as the opening salvo of a larger military operation targeting the country. regions. A senior US administration official said the speech was meant to "justify war" to the Russian people and that it amounted to "an attack on the very idea of a sovereign and independent Ukraine" using "a number of false claims" meant to justify military action.

What You Need to Know About the Escalating Ukraine-Russia Crisis

Efforts by world leaders to head off a Russian invasion of Ukraine were dealt a serious blow Monday when Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees recognizing the independence of two separatist regions in eastern Ukraine and ordered his military to “maintain peace” there. But Putin’s moves, made as shelling continued in those regions, could be a precursor to the Kremlin sending in troops and weapons to support the separatists. Doing so is sure to deepen already inflamed tensions between Russia and the West. The White House said earlier Monday that President Joe Biden had agreed “in principle” to meeting Putin, but only if the Kremlin refrains from launching an assault on Ukraine. Even before any invasion, however, both Biden and the European Union said they would move ahead with targeted sanctions in response to Putin’s decrees.

Any way you look at this, its a win-win situation for Americans. We could win this war if we were to take on Russia and Ukraine combined. Why should we be concerned about Ukraine or any country on that side of the world?

Biden levels sanctions on Russia for beginning an invasion of Ukraine: live updates

President Joe Biden Tuesday said Russia's actions in Ukraine will trigger massive sanctions, a response he has been threatening for weeks as President Via diner Putin built up troops on Ukraine's borders. In a speech from the White House, Biden said the Russian leader has committed "a flagrant violation of international law. "Putin on Tuesday received authorization from lawmakers to use Russian troops outside of the country, a move he said was necessary to formalize the military's deployment in two rebel regions of eastern Ukraine. Russia reconized those provinces as independent on Monday and Putin ordered troops there to "maintain peace." Biden described this as the start of an invasion.
