Mac Jones solid, Panthers pause QB battle in Pats' 20 - 10 win
Mac Jones completed a 45-yard pass to set up a touchdown in his first game action of the preseason. Walker was 8 of 15 for 107 yards and two interceptions. Corral finished 9 of 15 for 58 yards for the Panthers.

Week 3: Aug. 26 vs Buffalo W
Mayfield throws 2 TD passes as Panthers defeat Bills 21-0
Mayfield completed 9 of 15 passes for 89 yards. The Panthers scored on two of four possessions with Mayfield at the helm. Case Keenum struggled to move the Buffalo offense, going 8 of 13 for 46 yards with one interception that the Panthers quickly converted into a touchdown.

Week 1: Sept. 11 vs Cleveland L
York's 58-yard FG lifts Brown over Panthers, Mayfield 26-24
Nick Chubb ran for 141 yards and Kareem Hunt had 70 total yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns. Mayfield, who spent four seasons with Cleveland prior to being traded in July, finished 16 of 27 for 235 yards with two touchdowns.

Week 2: Sept. 18 at New York Giants L
Giants 2-0 for the first time in 6 years, beat Panthers 19-16
Graham Gano kicked a 56-yard field goal with 3:34 to play, and the Giants ignored being booed off the field at halftime. Saquon Barkley rushed for 72 yards on 21 carries. Christian McCaffrey led the Panthers with 15 carries for 102 yards.


Week 3: Sept. 25 vs. New Orleans W
Panthers defeat Saints 22-14 to snap 9-game losing streak
Baker Mayfield threw for 170 yards, Christian McCaffrey ran for 108 and Shenault had 90 yards receiving. Jameis Winston, playing with an injured back, completed 25 of 41 passes for 353 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions, while rookie Chris Olave had nine catches for 147 yards.


Week 4: Oct. 2 vs Arizona L
Murray has 2 TD passes, 1 rushing; Cardinals top Panthers 25-10
Murray threw for 207 yards and two touchdowns and added another score on the ground. Mayfield has completed 54.7% of his passes this season with four touchdowns and three interceptions.

Garopoolo, stingy defense lead 49ers past Carolina 37-15
After failing to land Deshaun Watson in the offseason, the Carolina Panthers had a choice of whether to pursue Jimmy Garoppolo or Baker Mayfield in an effort to upgrade at quarterback...They chose Mayfield.

Week 6: Oct. 16 at Los Angeles Rams L
LA Rams rally In 2nd half to beat Wilks, Panthers 24-10
Mathew Stafford passed for 253 yards, Darrell Henderson and receiver Ben Skowronek rushed for touchdowns in the second half. Christian McCaffrey amassed 158 of Carolina's 203 total yards

Week 7: Oct. 23 vs Tampa Bay W
Brady, Bucs drop under .500 with shocking loss to Panthers 21-3
D’Onta Foreman ran for 118 yards, Chuba Hubbard added 63 yards and a touchdown and the Panthers managed 343 yards on offense. Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost for the third time in four games Sunday to fall to 3-4.


Week 8: Oct. 30 at Atlanta L
Koo's OT FG gives Falcons improbable 37-34 win over Panthers
D.J. Moore hauled in a last-minute touchdown pass but ripped off his helmet, Carolina's Eddy Piñeiro missed a pair of potential winning kicks, and the Atlanta Falcons escaped with a victory that was as improbable as their spot in the standings. First place.

Week 9: Nov. 6 at Cincinnati L
Nixon scores 5 TDs, Bengals dominate Panthers 42-21
Joe Mixon rushed for 153 yards and scored a franchise-record five touchdowns and caught four passes for 58 yards. Cincinnati allowed P.J. Walker just 9 passing yards and intercepted him twice in the first half, chasing the former XFL quarterback to the bench in favor of Baker Mayfield to start the second.

Week 10: Nov. 10 vs Atlanta W
Foreman leads Panthers past rival Falcons in rain, 25-15
Foreman carried 31 times for 130 yards and a touchdown. Pineiro connected on field goals of 46, 49, 40 and 37 yards for Carolina. The Falcons' Marcus Mariota finished 19 of 30 for 186 yards and two touchdowns, but was sacked five times and intercepted once.


Week 11: Nov. 20 at Baltimore L
Late turnovers help Ravens hold off Panthers 13-3
Lamar Jackson threw for 209 yards with an interception and Demarcus Robinson caught nine passes for 128 yards. Mayfield, a familiar opponent for the Ravens when he was with Cleveland, threw for 196 yards for the Panthers (3-8). D'Onta Foreman was held to 24 yards on 11 carries

Ka'Vontae Turpin has kickoff, punt return TD's: Cowboys beat Chargers 32-18
The Dallas wide receiver became the first player in nine seasons to have kickoff and punt return touchdowns in the same game. the last player to run back a punt and kickoff in the same game — preseason, regular season or playoffs was Detroit's Jeremy Ross on Dec. 8, 2013, against Philadelphia.

Maher lifts Rush, Cowboys over Burrow, Bengals, 20-17
Brett Maher kicked a 50-yard field goal as time expired. Rush is now 2-0 as an NFL starter. The Cowboys sacked Burrow six times in the first three quarters. The Bengals are the first defending AFC champion to start 0-2 since Denver.

Lamb's 1-handed TD catch gives Dallas 23-16 win over Giants
