I think I posted in the Star Wars thread, but it is 1997, so 90s nostalgia too. Sitting for 30-45 minutes to download it in 4 parts over dial-up. Good times:

Van Morrison is an old racist crank now but at least we have this cool 90s remake by John Mellencamp and the amazing Me'Shell Ndegeocello....

Even if it was, it makes sense for it to keep popping up on almost every page. Very fitting.
 
Y'know... I heard they got the idea back in videotape days, but shipping videotapes wasn't practical for their business model, but I still can't help but wonder if the constant deluge of trial AOL CDs didn't play a part in the creation of Netflix.
