What if

Mirah

I love you
What if I just stopped watching all television shows and streaming platforms and only got my entertainment from live performances?

Symphonies, plays, talks, book signings, I could become a regular snob.

It would probably cost just as much as whatever you're subscribed to.

But depending on where you live, you may be relegated to local productions of Oklahoma, Death of a Salesman, Hello Dolly... Might have an occasional production of Romeo and Juliet. Comedy could be on the lower end. You might get the guy, that opened for the guy who opened for Louis C.K.

I guess it depends on how far you're willing to travel for quality performance, and how that compares to how much you're paying for Cable/Streaming.

What if you just looked at amusing gifs on a message board.

This is the only moral choice. Or piracy, that would also be moral

I already go to local shows. I was thinking about the fanciest of shows that cost a lot of $ and that one would need to travel great distances to see. I am sure there are people who have never watched a television program in thier life, or a movie for that matter. I woulnd't want to give up going to a movie theater tho.
