Some suggestions:

St. Lucifer: Banned at many sites with just one post. Relative newcomer who hit the scene hard.

Messenger: Actually banned from TK but able to rise again like a Phoenix. One of only four people to be never allowed into SC.

Jack: Banned on over 15% of the internet with a stable of followers who claim they hate him yet post after him continuously.

Jillian: So trolling she is banned at most sites within a week. Hard to beat her act if that is what it is.

Dogbert: His right wing sticht is the primary reason Yahoo is shutting its boards down.

I will add more suggestions later, but please get your PM's in.

I publicly vote for St. Lucifer for his sheer annoyance ability, with an honorable mention to Messenger for his penchant for creating drama even when nobody cares.

Yes, it's a fading memory. Maybe I've got a soft-spot for him because he really pissed me off a few times...and then I learned to laugh with him.

But it's been years. And most of his best stuff was back on "Big Blue" when he'd get the entire board in an uproar.

Perhaps so ... From what I've read of him here, I was pulling the same sort of schtick on usnet lists in the early 90's.

But I suppose "presence" is the thing. Being active and contemporaneous makes for more of an impression than people's reminisces and 4-year-old posts in a dusty archive..

All of these other nominees have you all patting them on the back in a big troll circle-jerk. GB is the only person who has managed to piss off, irritate and annoy everyone here to the point of distraction without pulling lame death pranks or faking suicide. All he does it post words, and it drives even the most (self-)celebrated TK trolls to distraction on more than one board. He's owned you all, and you still won't recognize it because it's too painful to contemplate.
