i've always wanted to jump down on the tracks... kind of a fun lemming type feeling. that kid got to live my dream AND not die.
 
That's exactly how I have envisioned surviving a scenario where I fall or get pushed off the platform. Dig myself into the gap between the rails and hope the train wasn't pimped into a low-rider on MTV.
 
MTV is always doin that sort of shit, i saw a tractor on the edens expressway yesterday doin 80mph, blastin' "Big Pimpin'" on the $40,000 stereo, and the driver was watching porn on the 19" display. I'm all like, "dude, you're going to let MTV get away with that?"

It's not that I wouldn't have the courage to do something like that (when I was 22 I saved a woman from drowning at a lake), it's that I'd think that my son needs me to be alive and providing for him more than this person needs me to save his/her life.

The only exception would be if it were a kid, then I'd probably jump in without thinking.
 
On the Underground they have "suicide pits" in the middle of the tracks for people to fall into. People still kill themselves every year on the tube though.
