Mosts scripted panel show in the history of the universe?

The answer is yes. Don't bother debating it.

CLEM CLUMBABY BEGS TO DIFFER!

Why does that man have tin cans?

Jimmy Carr: What [PRODUCT] do most men [PERFORM AN ACT] with?
Team Captain: I [PERFORM AN ACT] with [UNUSUAL PRODUCT].
Other Team Captain: You [PERFORM AN ACT] with [UNUSUAL PRODUCT]? WHAT A TWONK!
David Walliams: Oooh, mince!

I used to work on a certain cat brand that when it originally launched the campaign it was 9 out of 10 cats. They moved on to 8 out of 10 cats when the research proved it was just that. They thought no-one would notice.

When I stopped working on the brand they were desperate to get back to even 8 out of 10 cats and testing it in belgium or somewhere daft where the cats were backwards or interbred.

True story, but not as interesting as the vanessa feltz story.

They could just kill cats who don't comply.

Mel Smith is interviewed in my fave music & media mag this month. He's asked about what he finds funny - he says "some people I just don't understand. I mean, Jimmy Carr. What the fuck is all that about?"

I actually find him quite funny, but it's always nice to see the vitriol is still there in the 70's-80's new wave of British comedy talent.

However, I agree with the assessment of this show. I've seen a couple of shows, and it's not for me.

Michael McIntyre just talks in a stupid voice.

Considering Mel Smith hasn't been funny in about 20 years I don't think he has a lot of room to talk.

8 out of 10 can be hit and miss, it depends who is on, I used to like it when they had the guy from pheonix nights on, one of the two who got screwed by Peter Kay, but thats a different story

He's had no need. He's semi-retired having made a fat pile of cash after he and Griff-Rhys Jones sold their production company for £63m 9 years ago. He does theatre now.

Me too. If Mel Smith had made the comment about him, I would laughed even harder.

"Have you noticed how I...just talk... IN A SILLY VOICE?"
