9 Months

Mirah

I love you
Did I get your attention?!

Following the conclusion of Season 2, Crossing Jordan went on hiatus to accommodate Jill Hennessy's pregnancy. As a result, Season 3 was delayed and shortened. Many of the episodes aired out of chronological order, most notably Oh, Brother Where Art Thou?, which is chronologically the first episode of Season 3 and resolves the cliffhanger ending from the Season 2 finale. NBC did not want to alienate new viewers by starting the season in the middle of an ongoing story line after a ten-month hiatus, so they postponed the episode until the end of the season.

I got through the 2nd season and then couldn't find anything out about the conclusion and had to search for a while before I found this.

The 3rd season episode list is supposed to go like this:
13
7
3
1
12
2
4
9
5
6
11
8
10

Have you ever seen anything like this?! Ahhhhhhhhh

Yes actually i kind of have, years ago when Hannibal was released i was really looking forwards to it as im a full scale mark for the franchise, I ignored all the reviews and shut people down who tried to speak with me about it. I waited for the whole season to come out so i could watch it in one sitting.

So heres the problem, whoever named the video files in the Torrent folder did not put a 0 in front of episode 1-9 so i ended up watching the second half of the season before the first and by the time i got to around episode 04 I twigged why it was making no fucking sense whatsoever and then didn't end up watching season 1 or the rest of the show till about 5 years later.

I was pissed the fuck off lol

Didn't Firefly air out of order and for years "Browncoats" blamed that for its cancellation, when in fact it was a niche show with limited mainstream appeal that was always ill-suited for network tv?

First off, great show, but the airdate order fucked it over bigtime. FOX, ya know. When it was first on even I tapped out after a couple of episodes because I knew it wouldn't last 6 months with that whackadoodle schedule, the pre-emptions and schedule changes. Only really got into it when it was released on DVD awhile before Serenity was in the theaters, and it's now one of my favorite shows. Not that I'm a Browncoat or anything, those people are weird.

We have a place where I live that has books, cd's, dvd's that people don't want. Its like a 2nd hand store, but everything is free. Anyway, there were some Carol Burnett DVD's and I grabbed a couple and then someone who happens to be in their 20's grabbed some for their aunt, but they questioned "Wait, do these go in order? Will she be confused if she watches one in the middle and I don't grab the whole set?"

It did cause issues for the show. They also kept switching the time slot.
Annoying

Kind of like the whole Yellowstone fiasco where they switched streaming services and then even tho they said it was available on one, it wasn't available for streaming services. The finale is tonight thankfully and then I will be through with it.

I'm sure the way Fox treated Firefly didn't help, I just can't see it becoming a big network tv style hit? But maybe things were different back in 2003, I guess weird shows had a better chance on regular tv then than now where you'd only get them on streaming.

I just like trolling browncoats.
