A brief review of Forbidden Kingdom

Strictly B flick, but loads of fun. More realistic choreography, although I'm not sure why Jackie Chan is insisting on this Drunken Master Immortal persona. Go figure. Story was complex enough to be believeable.

Jet Li is wonderful. I think I'm a fan.

My perspective was a little different on this film, because the writer lives in Hyde Park, and is a friend of the family.

He's also written Hidalgo and some weird animated flick Cimarron: Spirit of the Stallion, among others. Interesting watching this thing develop to the actual release of the film.
