I'm not gul and I would never openly leak secret information. Alot of the paranoia now is unfounded. If I knew people would start pointing fingers at each other I wouldn't have registered this account. Consider me discontinued.
 
How about showing some fucking guts and saying your Wordforge name?

Whats the worst that can happen? You don't get to circle jerk with the rest of the "inner circle" anymore?

You've leaked nothing. All you've done is criticize the board which is what several mods have done themselves over various issues so you hiding your Wordforge name is just dumb.

It wasn't, originally. It had a purpose, like TK. And, like TK, it's lost it's vision beyond recognition.
 
The difference there is, TK's "vision" wasn't its core purpose. The free speech era was Sardonica's stamp on the board.

And even this post-Sardonica-TK is a freer environment than any board I know. But it started out as a troll board and in spite of whatever else hangs on it through the years, that's what its core purpose will remain.

You're so full of bullshit with this sentence, and to be honest, the feigned ignorance pisses me off more than you wanting to keep your identity a secret. You come up with a first post like this:

I'm not going to post with my real nick at Wordforge. Why should I? The inner circle has a habit of ostracizing people who don't march to their tune. This place is supposed to be a free speech board, but some of the people posting here should know better than to just say what they mean without some anonymity protecting them.

That's the SAME line of logic Tamar used with that whole ten million page Meka drama with her whole "I didn't think things would get out of hand" bullshit. And if you didn't support what she did back then (and I'm assuming you didn't), that would make you a full blown hypocrite.

My dear jack...my rep comment to Eggs was meant to rescind my statement about TK's vision. But if that wasn't clear, allow me to reiterate.

TK is dramatically different from it's incarnation. Granted, back then I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole, but it, and I, have changed.

Change, I agree, is good. Sometimes. Do I wish TK had changed in a different direction? Yes. But for what it is, it suits me, sometimes.

Wordforge, however, is imploding in on itself as we speak. Even if the players in the newest little drama get off scott free, the seeds of doubt, resentment, and mistrust have been planted. Unless TPTB recognize this and do some MAJOR behavior modification and damage control, WF is going to dissolve into a board of bitter, apathetic posters.

It's fascinating, and a bit heartbreaking, to watch.

And I know I can always count on you to keep me honest. Thanks, dude! :techman:
 
Like I said, you know I love you :D This WF stuff is awesome. When I went over there with Mess, it was the weirdest clusterfuck I'd ever seen.

So, I'm not surprised.

Part of me is really enjoying it, but part of me is sad for the board that once was.

The people that originally founded and became members of *that* board were friends, in the true sense of the word.

Those people have turned into backstabbing, argumentative, mean-spirited, distrustful trolls. And they don't even save that ugliness for outsiders. They inflict it on *each other*. How self destructive can one community become?
