Of course not. The only software I've actully gone out and bought in years has been Half Life 2. Everything else, about 50+ programs and games, has either been given to me, traded or found.
 
I've seen this, BG. Much like Battlefield Vietnam was to Battlefield 1942, Battlefield 2142 is basically nothing more than a (more or less extensive) mod of the game that preceded it, just repackaged so EA can suck more money out of people's wallets. Personally, I would have prefered they just finish BF2 by rounding out its singleplayer capabilities.
