Until he got really sick, he used to do a yearly New Years Eve show somewhere in Manhattan. Some of those gigs were ridiculous.

Probably the most eloquent guitar technician of our time.

ah, I wish I was alive to see some of his shows. He truly was amazing. BTW, I own freak out and we're only in it for the money. I got some of the good ones.
 
I listened to Joe's Garage on Friday night at a friends house. I still listen to Freak Out and weasels ripped my flesh as well.
