Millions of women every year have their babies cut out of them. It's called a C-Section!

Anyway, they weren't going to "cut her baby out of her", they were giving her medical attention, inolucating her and the baby (from what? disease? fallout?), and providing a safe place to deliver. They even set up a nursery. I don't know what they were going to do with the baby, but Walt seemed to be treated ok while he was "captured".

Who is "Scott/Steve"? I know Goodwin (an other) killed Nathan (whom Ana Lucias suspected) to hide his own treachery. And Ethan Rom (Other Man) was Goodwin's counterpart in Jack's camp.

Michael killed Ana Lucia and Libby when freeing Henry Gale, but I get the impression it was more circumstance than malice. He had to free Gale to get Walt back, and Ana and Libby got in the way. Think about it: "Henry Gale" had plenty of opportunity to escape when Lock was trapped under the hatch door. He didn't.

Finally...who is "Him"? Gale and Tom (a/k/a "Beardman" and "Zeke") refer to "him" as the leader of The Others. But who is "him"?
 
Scott/Steve was a background guy everyone got his name wrong, when Ethan promised Jack he would kill someone every day until Claire was handed over, the S man was the first to go.
 
I don't think the others planned to let Claire live. Also the innoculation thing was bogus. And no matter how good the others were to Walt, they still kidnapped him. They didn't take him because he was worthy or good, they took him because he has some psychic ability, which they planned to use for their own purposes.

Another thing, if Danielle was the last survivor from her bunch.. why would the others take Alex from her and not take Danielle in? She wasn't always crazy, surely they could've taken pity on her or something.
 
Danielle killed the other members of her crew when they got sick, shes not the sort of person you want hanging around if you pick up a cold
 
Killing her would have been kinder than leaving her to go crazy.. um crazier.

And why did she kill them? I can't remember, but I'm sure it was more than them just being sick.
 
Actually, I think the word she used was "infected". Not sick but "infected". Remember, in S1 Danielle tried to warn the castaways that going to the other island meant they'd be infected too. She made it sound like...I dunno...almost like the effects of the plague in 28 Days Later. As though she had to kill them all.

Remember also, Inman (Des' partner and Sayid's captor in Iraq) used to warn Desmond that if he went out without a containment suit, he'd be "infected". But that was a lie, the suit was ripped, and Des followed and killed Inman.

So maybe the "vaccine" really was pointless? They'd better start coming up with some fucking answers early on this season!
 
Why did Alex set Claire free if the Others weren't going to hurt her?

AND ANOTHER THING, Zeke SHOT Sawyer and blew up the raft leaving Sawyer, Jinn and Michael for dead in the ocean. Yeah, they're real heroes!

And yes, Steve/Scott was the guy Ethan murdered when he was trying to get Claire back.
 
The others may have been good guys a long time ago, but they're not anymore. Maybe they are infected, or just crazy.

I hope they answer some questions this season, too. Just a little something would make me happy, they can't keep making more and more mysteries without solving a few first.
 
The others arent crazy, the bomb they used to blow up the raft looked very sophisticated, and they only pretend to be wild an unkempt.

They also have the planes manifest at their disposal so they most be in contact with the outside world
 
They are crazy in the mad scientist kinda way, like they are so sure what they are doing is right that they don't care what happens to anyone.
 
The most conclusive proof that they are evil: Henry keeps giving evil looks when there's no one else in the room and evil music plays when he does so.

Maybe some of them are individually (alex) but you can't deny Henry's evil looks/music.
