Wal-Mart probing racist store announcement

All black people leave the store now,’ public-address system said Sunday

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, New Jersey - Wal-Mart Stores Inc. officials are reviewing security tapes to try to determine who used a southern New Jersey store's public-address system to tell "all black people" to leave.

On Sunday evening at the Washington Township store, a male voice calmly announced: "Attention Wal-Mart customers: All black people leave the store now."

Witnesses told the Courier-Post newspaper that customers and store employees looked stunned. Management later apologized.

Company spokeswoman Ashley Hardie says the incident was "unacceptable." The retailer is looking to prevent it from happening in the future.

Washington Township police and the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office also are investigating.

It was really just a simple misunderstanding. What the announcer meant to say was -

"Allb lackpe oplele avet hes toren ow"

An honest mistake.
 
If someone had gotten on the microphone and said, "All white people leave the store," would there be anyone calling for riots, picketing, firing someone?

What a racially sensitive thing to say.

I can't imagine why anyone would want the white people I've seen in walmart anywhere but inside the store.

My fav is always the greeter. We have a very aggressive one in our local branch.

"Welcome to walmart SIR." I can't figure out why he accentuates 'Sir". I think he might have some underlaying health/welfare issues.

And they cannot do shit about it, since I am CANADIAN. Fuck the Americans. They want me, my country must agree to extradite me, which they will not.

At the Wal-Mart near me, the Chinese are much-maligned, as they are disgusting people. They are pigs who eat whilst shopping... eat the products in the store. One such chink was caught opening a 1L carton of chocolate milk, drinking out of it, and tossing it aside. When he arrived at the gates, there were police officers waiting for him. What a fucking dumb slant. He doesn't know there are fucking CAMERAS everywhere?
 
I can't believe there were not any riots. Did Al Sharpton even show up for the apology?

Black people are getting lazy. No wonder we stopped enslaving them.
 
Jesse counselled the Walmart leadership. The misuse of microphones to disparage African-Americans will not happen again.
 
The amazing thing is most of the blacks DID leave. I Wonder if that would work for Republicans?

I doubt it, but I'm sure all the liberals in the store walked out with the blacks so they could all feel oppressed together.
 
That's not such a bad idea. With everyone else gone, the Republicans will turn on each other. In a few years, the country would be fit to recolonize as a true constitutional democracy.
 
Either that or the Republican society would collapse with all the people giving orders but no one to actually do the labor.....
 
Or the republicans could simply buy all the guns in WalMart then round up the hippie protesters outside and ship them off to Europe. That way you guys can live in your socialist paradise and the rest of us can stop paying for your welfare.
