I suggested this awhile ago. There are quite a few boards for that. We could even do a theme troll by using Indian sounding usernames and calling ourselves the Sanjaya fan club.
Sanjaya must be relegated to a page torn out of a teen idol magazine, taped or thumbtacked to a bedroom wall or closet door. Unlike some other teen idols, he is fully dressed, has a very nice smile, seems very sweet, loves his parents and siblings, and has not shaved off his hair. He is a good thing. His claim to celebrity can be the reprisal of mall singers - like Tiffany back in the day. He might even be adorable on some early Saturday morning sitcom - a teletubbie perhaps.
I always thought American Idol was the greatest troll ever conducted against the American people, myself. Or at least in the top five along with "The Real World", "Survivor", "The Bachelor", and "The Simple Life".
So is this some kind of quid pro quo thing? Can't we just nuke Hollywood instead?
