Wow - Melinda Doolittle was sent home.

Sure, somebody has to go. Melinda was better than the others in consistent delivery and style. Overall, none of the contestants on this show this year are what I'd consider "Idol" material. None of them will produce a record I'd go out of my way to buy. But, if Melinda were singing in a play at a nearby theater, I'd probably go.
 
Thank gawd - it is almost over. I won't ever have to watch this again. The judges declared Jordin the winner. Won't be until tomorrow night to know for sure. More than likely it will be Jordin. I imagine she won't be as disappointing as Rueben Stoddard. Blake will probably do well too. Who knows. I bought a Clay Aiken CD this year.
 
I was pretty surprised that Melinda was sent home, but to be honest, I had a hard time seeing her as the winner. She easily wipes the floor with everyone this season, but her personality doesn't jump up from her. There's a fine line between humble and mousy, and Melinda bordered on the latter.

What the fuck, wheezie? This isn't a reflection of you personally. You're a goddess to me whatever you enjoy, but that show is like valium on morphine. It would be fun to watch it with you though. After you caught your breath (probably during the ads) you'd have a whole new way of thinking about the show :D

Morphine and valium - wow, sleeping through a major feel good.

The thing is I really liked Rock Star INX. That was an awesome show. Mig, Marty and JD were awesome in competition. I need something to rekindle that interest in reality TV. So far, nothing has.
