After all the barking and bleating, did you actually go to the polls today?
I did.
I did.

Anyhoo, I haven't voted yet but then it's only 5:00PM here. I think I'll go do some Christmas shopping at Target first and then hit the polls. Like mm, I haven't missed voting since I turned 18. I remember it well, I was 19 and I voted for Bush 41.
missmanners said:^ and voted for Grover Cleveland.

Cranky Bastard said:I refused to vote. Americans seem stuck in this bullshit "football mentality" politics game where they believe only two political parties can be "on the field" at the same time.
Over and over I hear "if you vote third party, you're wasting your vote."
And I call BULLSHIT.
Both parties are only interested in increasing government, reducing your freedoms, and keeping the voter wrapped up in the partisan bickering game while they laugh and fuck us up the ass.
I hated Conrad Burns (R) senator of Montana. That asshole was one of the worst, just ahead of a democrat, in pork appropriations. But the ONLY alternative was a democrat who talked of more government, more partisan bullshit, and an anti-Iraq agenda.
Great.
So I didn't vote. I got the pleasure of seeing Burns dumped and had to bend over for the gleeful proclamations of of a hard turn to even more government and bullshit.
Vote either Constitution Party or Libertarian. They're the only parties with the platform of returning government to its constitutional limits. The dems and reps? They want you to forget about all of that while you play the partisan bullshit they keep tossing you.
