Angel season 5 is pretty fucked up

And logic.

Hey ya'll, remember when Angel S5 ruled?

That was fun.

Especially as the Buffy comics have basically just pissed all over the Angel comics.

It wasn't difficult though. Try as I could, I just couldn't get into it. Large parts made no sense, the characterisations were dull & out of line with what was established on the show. The artwork was shite, and there's no shortage of good comic artists. What a missed opportunity with an excellent franchise.

Fred showed her legs a lot in season five.

Remember when Wes tried to rape/murder Fred in the hotel?

Good times.

And Jin (Gavin) beat the shit out of Lilah.

And then Cordy became an ascended being and Connor was born in what was the most horrific season ever?

Buffy, I can still shove in the DVD player and enjoy every now and then. Angel is much harder to do. I don't think I've bothered with seasons 2-4 since I first got the discs & watched them. Series 1 & 5 are much easier to dip in & out of.

Buffy I can do seasons 1-3. 4th is extremely difficutl, and though i'll get negged, i thought Dawn was the worst thing to happen to the show.

AT THE TIME SHE SHOWED UP, but then glory came on the scene, and i liked it.

the same with The First storyline. It just kinda got crappy towards the end, but it finished on a hight note.

I have to say that Buffy Season 5 is the hardest for me too, but that's because it was so dark and depressing.

ONe of the things that bugged me with The First, and Caleb, is I wanted a showdown between Caleb and Willow. he's the only one of the gang he never interacted with, which I thought was weird.

5 seasons of Angel.

9 seasons (and counting) of Smallville.

So lame.

It has to be one of those weird things that the world throws up every now and then. Look at all the decent shows that were cancelled well before their time. Smalliville, 9 seasons? Tom Welling is going to an old man by the time it finishes. He's 33 in April. Reeve was 27 when he first played Superman, and 34 when he finished filming on the last movie.

And Smallville just got renewed for a 10th season. He'll be flying in a wheelchair.

Dawn was only in like two episodes before Glory showed up.

Angel four was good. I know everyone goes on about Cordy sleeping with Connor being horrible and yeah, it would have been, but we find out about six episodes later that it WASN'T REALLY CORDY so I don't see why it's brought up so much.

Season five Buffy had that one ultra-depressing episode (The Body) but it was brilliantly acted and directed. It was season six that piled on the misery to a ridiculous and at times tedious degree.

Season seven started well until those godawful (except Vi!) potential slayers showed up and they started doing episodes about Xander going on a date with Ayliah (or whatever) and Willow turning into Warren instead of having a proper story arc.

IMMMMMMMMHO

I really liked Season 5. Some people don't but I thought it was really good. Much better than Season 6 and 7 at any rate.

Yeah. It had the BuffyBot in it.
