The only anime I ever cared for was Battle of the Planets, which was an American show ripped from a Jap anime called Gatchaman.

I've never seen Gatchaman. I've been told it's heads over BotP, so should I "acquire" the Gatchaman eps and have a good look at them?

Gatchaman is being put out by ADV Films, and they're really putting a lot of effort into the scripts and dubs.

Battle of the Planets is like DIC's Sailor Moon. An Americanized watered down version of the original. If you like BotP, you'll love Gatchaman. And this is in it's unedited form, as well.
