Eggs Mayonnaise

All In With The Nuts
Quite possibly the coolest guy on the planet.

DISCUSS.

"Vegetarians, and their Hezbollah-like splinter faction, the vegans, are a persistent irritant to any chef worth a damn. To me, life without veal stock, pork fat, sausage, organ meat, demi-glace, or even stinky cheese is a life not worth living. Vegetarians are the enemy of everything good and decent in the human spirit, and an affront to all I stand for, the pure enjoyment of food. The body, these waterheads imagine, is a temple that should not be polluted by animal protein. It's healthier, they insist, though every vegetarian waiter I've worked with is brought down by any rumor of a cold. Oh, I'll accommodate them, I'll rummage around for something to feed them, for a 'vegetarian plate', if called on to do so. Fourteen dollars for a few slices of grilled eggplant and zucchini suits my food cost fine."

My favourite episode is when he goes to Iceland.

Wasn't there a thread about this already?

Well anyway, I love his show, he's a cocky fuck but the man ate Bar-B-Que'd iguana in Mexico. You can't beat that with a stick.

I have grown to love him. No Reservations is so much better than Bizarre Foods cause he's cooler than Andrew Zimmerman.

Probably. But nothing came up in Similar Threads so NO IT WAS ALL MY IDEA HA!

I have to wonder what his cholesterol levels and normal blood pressure are, though. ;)

Probably normal. He eats a lot of weird shit but he's relaxed and assholish so it all balances out.

I love LOVE the Russia episode where his friend takes him to have a massage and the guy twists him up like a giant pretzel.

There's a No Reservations marathon on the Travel Channel right now (3PM ET) that continues till 4AM ET. Except for some lame live New Years special between 11 and 12.

I love the beat/noir touch he applies to his writing and narration. Also his skilled use of the word "Flinstonian" to describe Michael's approach to twice-baked potatoes during Top Chef 2.
