Trevor Horn has been behind a lot of awesome shit
but yeah, his work in 'Art of Noise' is a very special
i was so sad when i read his son accidentally his mom(Trevor's wife) in the neck back in 2006
she has been in a come ever since...

Only in the sense that it was the very first video played by MTV when the channel premiered Aug. 1, 1981. (I guess they'll be playing it again in a couple of weeks).

But artists had been making videos for years. Before there were enough to fill a cable channel, they would be seen on Don Kirschner's Rock Concert, Solid Gold and America's Top 10 with Casey Kasem. But you're right, before MTV they probably referred to them as "promo reels" or something.
