ATTN: Trek fans...anyone old enough to remember these?

FOTONOVEL

I only had 1, "The City on the Edge of Forever" & I used to read the shit out of it. Star Trek Fotonovels were books with actual stills from the TOS episodes that were captioned like a comic book. This was before VHS and it was the closest thing you could get to owning a copy of the tv episode. A kid I went to Junior High School with had the entire set & he used to bring them to school & I was jealous...but he let me read them so that was cool.

I had one for the WOK, never seen it for the actual series.

They were still making them as recently as for First Contact.

Quite good if you'd just seen the movie and wanted to relive the experience on the cheap (and do the voices).
