BADLANDS Star Trek Novels

The Dork Lord

Whipping Boy
The First one is OS meets TNG
The second one is VOY meets DS9
I have NO IDEA if they suck or not
Never heard of the author, Susan Wright
Further report after I've read them!

Ok they weren't really crossovers, so much as a single story told in four parts, encompassing all 4 shows. The Romulans, Kingons, Cardassians, Maquis, and Dominion all played rolls as well.

Episodes were heavilly referenced, in fact the Voyager segmant actually takes place (mostly) before the first episode of the show.

The main story revolves around an artificial Quantum Singularity orbiting the Badlands, and all the damage it causes.

The characters here dead on, and the plot interesting enough to keep my attention.

Over-all, I'd say this was a decent read, worthy of even the most causual trek-fan's (AND BADLANDER'S) time.

They seemed like they could've taken place in-between episodes, but you or whisky or someone might find continuity errors and whatnot...

Did you envision Kate Mulgrew as Captresse Janeway (that is, if the character actually appeared)?
