Dan won Part 1, a physical endurance comp where they clung to ropes with big hooks while BB dumped heavy rain on them and swung them into a padded wall from time to time. It was over too quickly and anticlimactic, as Ian and Dani basically threw it to Dan. Fools.

Part 2 usually involves a puzzle with a physical element -- they have to get through some obstacle (a tank of water, balance beams, boxing lifesize cutouts of HGs) and name the order of HoHs and evictions for the whole season. That is either happening tomorrow, or possibly right now as the feeds have been blocked for a while and no one knows why. The HGs have basically been laying around all day.

Part 3 will happen live on the finale show Wednesday, an A/B quiz format between the winners of Parts 1 & 2. Whoever wins gets to choose which of the other two people to take to the finals.

I WANT MY SWEET BABOO IAN TO WIN but it's not looking good. Dan & Dani are still tight, even though she's still pissed at him for evicting her (imaginary) boyfriend Shane on Thursday.
 
It usually is, but it's a little less boring this year with the personalities involved.

But here's the fucked up part -- Dan & Dani worked out a plan last night that if Ian won, Dani would go off on him and threaten to taint the jury and not vote for him if he takes Dan to the F2. Which is dumb, because whoever goes out third is evicted live on the finale show, and they never get a chance to talk to the rest of the jury. They just sit down next to them and cast their vote for the win.

Dan is already pressing Ian to throw Part 3 to him. Ian is having none of it. Dan is getting manic about having complete control over every aspect of this game, and I think he'll start cracking a little if Ian continues to refuse to throw it.

Now that I see that she's like Jessie and will just keep returning to play this annoying character, I'm a little more okay with her. But her and Brendon together still seem like a toxic cloud to me.

NEW CONSPIRACY!

Dan thinks that production is trying to force Ian into the final 2, because after the comp was over last night and Ian stepped into the shower, Dan ran to the bedroom to check on Dani, and while they were talking, BB said over the loudspeaker "Dan! Please adjust your microphone!" This made Dan paranoid that Ian would figure out he & Dani were talking, so he flipped BB the finger and ran back to Ian in the bathroom to chat him up (Ian was fine, didn't think anything of it).

Since THE INTERNET thinks that Dan is now paranoid that production is against him winning Part 3 and taking Dani with him, the theory is that when he flipped last night and started telling the cameras that he was now going to possibly throw the comp to Ian and let himself be taken to F2, he was lying so that production will leace him alone and stop (supposedly) messing with his game.

I think it's a bit of a stretch perpetrated by rabid Dan fans, but Dan is rather manic at this point, so it's within his mad genius mind to try and play EVERYONE in order to win.

The thing is, all three of these people have inaccurate ideas of how the jury will vote. Dan would win against Dani, but he would most likely lose to Ian thanks to the way he sent Shane to the jury house.

Dani is a catatonic mess right now, mostly because she's a sore loser. She keeps talking about wanting to punch Ian in the face, when all Ian has done since the comp is ask if she's okay. She's inconsolable, and it's hilarious.
 
It's gonna be a long 3 days of Dan playing head games with the two of them, but as long as Dan doesn't drive Ian to suicide, Ian's prospects are looking good for Wednesday's finale.
 
Dan left one more daramtic crumb for us to chew on all day...he got out of bed in the middle of the night, went out on the patio, and practiced his Final 2 plea speech to the jury...but he was talking as if Ian was in the Final 2 with him! As far as anyone knows, he was planning on taking Danielle with him to the finals...especially since Ian could beat him in the jury vote.

It could be that he is still trying to fool production since they're in the tank for Ian, or that he was practicing it as a backup speech in case he didn't win the final comp tonight...

...but still, DUN dun DUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN...the live finale airs in 4 1/2 hours.
 
IAN WON PART 3! (Yeah Dan probably threw it, but still)

Time to see if Ian will take Dan to the finals or if he has one more twist up his sleeve...
