He has that tone of voice of a person who is spending all their time convincing others of their outlook/philosophy when they really haven't convinced themselves yet. Meaning, they chose it because it will get attention and maybe people will like them. And if this doesn't work, they'll have an emotional breakdown and then try the next personality.
I reckon he would've ended up somewhat isolated, but he would've been a break from the norm and it might've given people a perspective on autism that doesn't come from comedies.
