Blue screen of death!

I disabled the ability of my computer to go to sleep, evnironment be damned!

I reset mine to an hour, it was set to go to sleep after 20 minutes. That was really annoying.

I'm still having problems.. got another blue screen this morning, all the error messages are the same except one and Microsoft's knowledge base is a pain in the ass to sift through. This time I wasn't trying to look at a youtube video, so I have no idea what the problem is.

Time to call the Geek Squad.

NOOO!!

YES!

Can the Geek Squad replace Vista with XP on her system?

They probably won't even come to the house now that I have Vista, the bastards. They'll just take over my computer remotely.. UNLESS I'm a real bitch about it and tell them no.

I haven't had anymore blue screens today. Also dongs.

Perhaps vista is saveing the rest for tomorrow?

I HAVE VISTSA AND IT MAKES ME WASLL WOBBLY AT THE NKNESS BECAUSE FOOTBALL MANAGER LOOKS FUCKING GREAT ON IT AND IRT HAS CHUCKLE BORTHER!!! BCHUCKLE BORTHERS LOL JASPER CARROTT BEAT CRAIG CHARLES TO DEATH WITH HIS GOLDEN BALLS.

I just crashed AGAIN :rwmad:

pwnd?

i don't understand... how could she post if she crashed? even through the stability problems, you gotta hand it to Vista, internet connectivity to your favorite (?) BBS while you're rebooting.

It's a conspiracy!

HELLO MY DEAR ISHCABITTLE!

NEVER let Microsoft update your video drivers or your network drivers. Get them direct from the source.

What did the error message say?

You want the codes? The way it looked in the error message was the same as below except there was a 0x in front of the number and no "BCCode" just the numbers. I've spent a little time trying to look up the codes on Microsoft's website but there were so many I gave up, for the time being. I thought it was because there was something wrong with my video card driver, but that doesn't seem to have been the problem.

BCCode: 100000b8
BCP1: 833FB170
BCP2: 886F92A8 2nd crash 8856c390
BCP3: 82806000
BCP4: 00000000

Menty, if you read this EVER AGAIN, lol.. I got another blue screen. It says at the top: A wait operation, attach process, or yield operation was attempted from a DPC routine. I looked it up and apparently there's a problem that has something to do with waking a Vista computer from sleep and something to do with a IEEE 1394-based device (whatever that is!). I don't know if I have a IEEE 1394-based device!
