I'd never watched it until last month when I watched the last few episodes of Season 5. Picked up the first 4 seasons in a Box Set on sale from HMV for £45. Now that is what I call a bargain!

Working my way through the 1st Season, and it is pretty good, it must be said.

Are the books worth getting into?

I've seen the show, pretty good show.

The only plot line I've ever really disliked was the Angela/Hodgins one.

the books are grim, graphic and grisly. So if you like that in a mystery, go for it!
(she's a best seller, so lots of folks clearly like that).

sexy and pretty are not always the same thing. I know lots of folks who are not pretty but they be DAMN sexy. (Smart is sexy)

Not always though.

Somebody can be smart but an asshole/bitch about it.

You know the show is false advertising, I never once saw Doctor McCoy on it.

^I think you'll like it - obviously it's part auto-biographical (write about what you know) and the forensic details are fascinating.
