The Legendary Troll King
Kurt Vonnegut died yesterday of complications from a brain injury from a fall last week.

He was 84.

Rest in Peace, O feckless curmudgeon!

Yea. I really loved the movie "SlaughterHouse Five" that was based on the Novel he wrote 8)

The cosmology of Cat's Cradle obsessed me when I was 13. Vonnegut wrote some really good books. They were:

Slaughterhouse-Five
(huge gap)

Cat's Cradle
God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater
Welcome to the Monkey House
Bluebeard

The film version of Breakfast of Champions was not very good.

Kurt Vonnegut appeared in the movie "Back to School." Rodney Dangerfield hired him to write his term paper on Kurt Vonnegut.

I had the pleasure to see him work with Joseph Chilton Pearce, who was professor of music at our High School. They did some readings and music together and lectured an assembly while he was visiting.

Slaughterhouse five is a great work.

Pearce wrote Magical Child, sort of precursed the whole Mozart Effect phenomenon.
