Brits: What does the Ben Sherman brand suggest

in your country, what type of person wears this brand of clothing?

I supposed you're expecting us to say CHAV, but everyone wears it.

Proper Chav wear is Burberry (obviously), Henri Lloyd, Rockport & cheap end YSL. Basically anything that can be optained in Sports Soccer (a filth cheap leisure wear chain) with the logo on it printed VERY BIG for pittance.

Ben Sherman isn't that bad at all. Chavs do wear it, but so does pretty much everyone else.

No, I had no idea, and didn't think it would be a Chav thing. I like the clothing and think it is very well made. It has kind of a rock nerd image in the States, I guess.

If anything, it has its roots in the Mod vs Rockers 1950's era, and is heavily associated with such fare as the East End of London & Quadrophenia.

Hmm, I'd say those roots are reflected in the U.S. image of the brand as well. The Union Jack cuff links I have are among my most prized possessions.
