Can a picnic last several days?

and then pretty soon

Absolutely not! I have had picnics indoors! Its fun!

Can picnics come on suddenly and without warning, or is a degree of planning always required?

I wouldn't like being outdoors for several days.

I would start to panic if a picnic lasted more than a 12 hour period.

My family's annual Labor Day picnic was called off for lack of enthusiasm.

So my immediate family is having our own mini-picnic this weekend. FUCK THEM!

WTF? Seriously

Picnics are a lot of hard work though.

You have to drag coolers, tables, table cloths, Ice.

So I guess @ Fuddlemiff, they require planning.

But sometimes my family calls and says, "Hey we are in the park, we have a grill, and some vegies, bring some meat if you want and come join us.
That way I am not doing any of the work, just showing up.

Man your idea of a picnic sounds so much better than my idea of a picnic, which is basically eating a couple of sandwiches on a damp hill.
