CATS

Mirah

I love you
Is in Seattle.
I have wanted to see CATS since I was 13.
I thought it was really popular once, then it went away, now its back.
I mentioned it to at least 3 people and they all said ,"What is CATS?"
OMG
SRSLY?
If I go see it will it suck? Did I miss that window of when it was cool because I was 13 and young and naive and full of hopes and dreams?

Also what does one wear to an afternoon theater show? A pink collar or a blue one? Just kidding. But really, I would assume that attire is a little bit more casual for an afternoon show than an evening show. : ( I was looking forward to getting dressed up too.

Fuck You! I hope the cats scratch your eyes out!

: D

Love you Dr Dave. Good thing I don't have an extra ticket then! Wait, you will watch Bick put his lips on some instrument in a hall, but you don't want to watch a bunch of people dressed as cats running around?! : P

If I wanted to see people dressed up as cats, I'd go to a anime convention.

I would go see a play with you, and that can only be said of two people in my life.

It's a bunch of people dressing up as cats, rooking you out of $ to see them dance and sing, what do you think?

Cats is one of those shows everyone is supposed to pretend is lame, when actually it's kinda fun to go see at least once. Go see it, enjoy yourself, have a good time. Ignore these wet blanket motherfuckers.

CATS, like Godspell and Annie and Wicked, is what I like to call good 'entry-level' musical theater. It's a nice way to draw people in to the theater, and from there they can move on to more complex shows and nurture their love affair with plays and musicals.

It's fine to love CATS. Just don't become the kind of fan where it's the ONLY show you love and you start a website about it and go to EVERY production you find and fill half your house with CATS memorabilia.

That's what HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH is for. ;)
