Seph, I'd take that challenge.

jack, me too. I actually have a Byzantine Chess board; the circular nature opens up a number of interesting possibilities. Namely, the queen (general) becomes a very weak piece, while the power of rooks is vastly exaggerated. Indeed, upon clearing a row, you can move around and end up in the same place you left.
